Danvita was founded in Zarasai, Lithuania, in 1994. Our bakery was one of the first privately owned bakeries in Lithuania. We originally focused on providing fresh bread to the local area. In 2001 we started baking crisps, bagels and rusks. In 2005 we introduced a crisp flat bread production line. In 2010 we started making whole-grain crisp straws. And in 2013 we launched butter cookie production line.
Currently we produce flat crisp bread, whole grain crisp straws, bagels, crisp rings, rusks and butter cookies. Our products are sold under DANVITA and RIDUTO brand names. We also produce privately branded products.
Currently we export over 80% of our production to Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Switzerland and Italy.
Our company employs over 100 highly skilled employees. Thanks to their dedication, qualification and creativity, our products are valued by our Lithuanian and international customers. Not only do we use modern equipment that allows us to reach and maintain high quality production, we also constantly invest in improving and automating production.
We pay special attention to our product quality. Since 2010 we have earned the BRC food safety management certificate. Every year international auditors evaluate whether food safety requirements are maintained based on international BRC standards.
We value natural and healthy food. We bake a range of goods without using any food additives or conservatives. High quality ingredients, extensive baking experience and innovation combine to deliver high quality products. We care about what we eat and what our customers will eat!
We are happy to introduce our latest product: organic flat crisp bread. Only the finest organic certified ingredients are used to make the organic flat crisp bread.
We participate in international food and baking exhibits such as ANUGA, SIAL, BIOFACH, ALIMENTARIA and FOODEX.
